Take Control of Thomas & his Friends!
“Take Control of Thomas, Percy and James on our outdoor island layout” says the Ruddington Model Railway Club. You’ll have 5 minutes for just a couple of pounds from 11am to 3pm – on a first come basis. This mid-week treat is Wednesday 23rd August at Ruddington’s Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre, next to Rushcliffe Country Park.
This event will run in conjunction with the Heritage cafe’s ‘Kids Eat for £1’ on this date. As usual, subject to weather and available volunteers the miniature railway will be running, which his a great ride-on experience.
Entry to the Ruddington Model Railway Club is free – but donations are welcome.
NTHC is one of Ruddington’s leading family visitor attractions – from going on a miniature train ride to looking around the various heritage groups onsite. It really is a great place for a #RuddyGoodDayOut because the centre is “Home of The Heritage Cafe, Nottingham Heritage Railway, Nottingham Area Bus Society, Nottingham SMEE, Ruddington MRC, EMRT, Barnwrights & more.”
The Heritage Centre Cafe serves hot meals, snacks and drinks. It’s usually open on Wednesday and at the weekends from 10am to 4pm.
Please note: You are advised to check NTCH events for details and cafe opening times, as activities may be subject to change (for example due to volunteers and/or the weather). You can email nthcevents@gmail.com and they have a Facebook page.
